• 1oz Malahat Bourbon
• 1/2 Blood Orange squeezed
• 2 Dashes of bitters
• 1 Tillen Farms Fire and Spice Cherry.

I wanted to find a way to use my blood oranges in a good cocktail that is reminiscent of an old fashioned. I started with some quality Bourbon. Instead of sugar cubes or simple syrup, I added half of a blood orange juice to the party. 2 Solid dashes of angostura bitters and a garnish of Tillen Farms Fire and Spice Cherry for a bit of heat and sweet.

Was a fun drink, maybe more tropical than a traditional old fashioned brings to the party, but it certainly did the trick.
