AJ’s Favorite Links

These are a few of my favorite things.

Binging With Babish

Oliver Babish, aka Andrew Rea, is an inspiration with his YouTube Series Binging with Babish. I grew up watching Alton Brown and loving all the science, breakdown and discussion about food. I feel an intense familiarity between Alton and Andrew. Andrew has fun and provides a fantastic visual overview of what he is working on. The best part is he is humble about his success. He doesn’t consider himself a Chef or worthy of that title. If you are a regular Joe then this is a fantastic way to get into cooking. His Basics with Babish are a great way to break down the fundamentals of cooking as well. Go check him out!

BA Test Kitchen

Ooof the BA Test Kitchen I don’t have as much to say other than I just really damn enjoy these series. It is for sure more of a formal/professional group, but they just love what they are doing. Brad Leone is my spirit animal and I hope to God someday I am as genuinely upbeat as he is!

Amazon.com

This is pure and simple me acknowledging that I buy and support Amazon way too much. I love that I can get practically anything and everything I need. Amazon Fresh brings it to my door and Amazon Web Services (AWS) Hosts all my work.

The Smoker King

I am not a expert smoker. All I do is use family recipes, wing it and basically reference websites. In the land of smoking meat I find myself more often than naught referencing The Smoker King. These guys break down some solid recipes and techniques. If you are interested in making things smokey and delicious. Check them out.
