So my second attempt at growing Hops this season has been going much better with a healthier Rhizome. My Centennial Hop’s are taking off!

I have reduced my watering down to maybe 2-3 times a week depending on the heat. Southern California seems to be decent for hop growing, but as per conversations with some far more experienced industry brewers I know there are specific types which do much better here including Fuggle which I may start a second one at some point.
Either way progress is being made and I HIGHLY recommend people taking this up if you are a home brewer, it is going to be the most satisfying feeling brewing a beer with my very own hops. Cheers and happy home brewing!
