Saturday I had another great opportunity to sample some sour beers! I decided to just randomly pick one and what a random pick it was.
I ended up picking a sour brown ale by name of “Duchesse De Bourgogne”. It had a really good sour start and crisp feeling to it this all followed by a nice sweet finish that as described had a nice malty flavor to it. Duchesse De Bourgogne @ Beer Advocate
So I have decided the lineup, but not quite the bill’s. Upcoming will be my basic Heffeweizen, followed by flat fermented hard cider using brown sugar and cinnamon to prepare for my fall/winter season and all of this followed up with a small 3 gallon batch of an undecided Mead! Good times all around! (this of course includes my hopgasm and a few other smaller batches!)
Happy Monday!
