Another homebrew wednesday which quickly declined into drinking.
My friend Cullen joined me this evening for a quick brew or two and we sampled our way across the years brews. I did a 1 week test taste on the Porter and was very intrigued by the flavors. It was smokey, malty, dusty and lightly bitter. Sadly it isn’t fully carbonated yet and it doesn’t have the head retention i was expecting.
Topping the evening off I transferred the Amber ale into the secondary. Still has a lot of free floating trub (all that hop added) but will most likely drop by the end of secondary.
